Do You Know the Secrets and Keys…

When I Grow Up…I want to be like ME! When you grow up, I hope you want to be like YOU!

In this day and age it seems that everyone you meet here and there is an author, motivational speaker, life coach, blogger, or social media “expert” or “an entrepreneur”… It also seems as if every working age person is trying to be like everyone who looks like they’re on the move to the next BIG trend? When does the clamoring and status striving stop? It’s like this one line I heard a comedian once say: “Everyone’s trying to be unique at the concert…the singer on stage says to the crowd…”Everyone repeat after me…’I am an individual’…” If you get the profundity of this statement, you begin to recognize how absurd and dangerous a game it is to be consumed with “being ourselves” by being like someone else – without having examined that persons life.

Follow the Follower?

One of my favorite modern philosophers – the grandfather of motivational audio media, Earl Nightingale, once said something like: “Everyone’s playing a game these days…instead of following the leader they’re playing a dangerous game of follower the follower…” Now think about this, we all have someone that we admire, or immitate or even want to be like. There’s nothing wrong with this. However, when we don’t watch or examine who the people we follow are led by we’re in trouble. When we don’t ask our soul, do I really resonate with this person’s spirit and philosophy of living and humanity, but instead jump on board because they look good or speak well or sound like they know what they’re talking about, we all more in greater trouble.

Who do YOU follow?

As long as there’s confusion and uncertainty in the world as well as new knowledge to gather, we will always intrinsically want to follow someone or something to higher grounds of knowledge and understanding. But the challenge and opportunity that we have today is to look within FIRST. Look inside at our internal compasses of truth and authenticity – it’s not black and white sometimes. It’s usually bloody – I’m referring to your body. It’s been said that the body holds more truth than the mind can handle. So in times of confusion, worry and anxiety or search for truth and clarity – see what your body is feeling. Truth feels a certain way in the body. Authenticity does too. When we do this, we can ask a question – who embodies this truth that I know, have heard of, or read about? And what do I need to do to follow the path they’ve illuminated? The answer to this is your access to the Secrets and Keys to BioEnergetic Leadership.
