Article Submission Guide

 So you want to contribute to the database of articles on Uniting Creatives? Here's a simple guide to help you prepare your article and get it submitted so that it's effective and will be considered for posting.

 The Article Submission Check-List:

• Is your article complete?
• Is your article original?

We do not accept plagiarized content. If you use someones work, please give them credit where it is due.

• Have you checked your article's spelling and grammar?

If you take the time to write it, please write it well. Your work will be much more appreciated by everyone.

• Is your article easy to read?

You can make your articles easy to read and more attractive by using bullets and numbered lists. People also tend to respond to condensed and clear messages. You can condense your content by making a point, offering two details, and moving on to the next point; then by organizing your points where they need to be and limiting the amount of supporting points and details in your message. Ideally the simplest way to organize an article is to have a summary, an opening statement, an introduction paragraph, a body and a closing (conclusion).

• Is your article attractive?

You may want to make your article more attractive to leave a lasting impression on your readers. This can be done by expressing humor and including cliche's or catchy sayings. You can also integrate some media into your article by requesting a video from a video share site (like YouTube) to be integrated into a place of your choosing in the article. You may also choose to have photo's included. Though these measures can make your article more attractive it can also make it more intensive for people with slower computers and internet connections to view - so be mindful in your usage of videos and pictures.
